CHILLICOTHE TO HOLD 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS
The Chillicothe Fireworks Committee has announced that they will be having the annual fireworks show on July 4, 2021. The Chillicothe Fireworks Committee is a local, non-profit group of volunteers that have provide the 4th of July Fireworks, completely free of charge, to the public for a couple generations.
Due to COVID, a lot of surrounding communities are cancelling their shows and larger than normal crowds are expected. Please take note of some changes and exciting additions:*
Crowd size will be limited so please plan on arriving early.
Once capacity is reached, the park will be closed to all arriving traffic.
Cars not fitting in back will not be allowed to park in the surrounding fields or along Route 29.
Tailgating at your cars will be allowed with gas grills. No charcoal, wood, or ground fires allowed and no pop-up tents that would obstruct the view for the cars behind you.
The Park will open at 5:30 and close once capacity is reached.
The first 3/4 of the cars to arrive will have full view of the show from their cars. The last ¼ will have obstructed ground show views so, get there early. There will be an outdoor viewing area away from your car with full visibility.
No reservations will be taken, and tailgate spots will be assigned in order as you arrive. The earliest to arrive will be the closest to the show.
Full bar and concessions will be available.
Kids games, live music, and other family events will be available before the show.

THE CHILLICOTHE FIREWORKS HAS OFTEN BEEN REFERRED TO AS THE MIDWEST’S LARGEST SMALLTOWN FIREWORKS SHOW. DON’T MISS OUT.
